Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar
Built between 2012 and 2014, the Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar is an Afghan Sikh temple in London. We produced and fixed several 12-metre-high window surrounds in Hanbeck limestone, designing the mouldings and carved detailing ourselves before installing the stone band and coping courses around the building's perimeter, a project valued at £220,000.
Twelve Metres of Limestone
Every moulding and carved detail for the window surrounds was designed in-house, worked out to suit the temple's scale and character.

Each surround was hand-carved from Hanbeck limestone to the finished design, standing 12 metres high once complete.

The finished window surrounds were produced and fixed in place across the building's façade.
Stone Bands and Coping.
Stone band and coping courses were installed around the full perimeter of the building, tying the elevations together.
